Fifty

I am now entering my 6th decade after turning 50 on August 15, 2009.

Every decade in my life has had a main theme. In my 20s it was music, in my 30s it was India and meditation, in my 40s it was changing my profession. So the question now is, what will be the main them of my 50s? Only time will tell.



I had a quadruple birthday party so that all the attention wouldn't be focused on me, as really, if I didn't have to, I would never have chosen to have to turn 50. Oh well, everyone assures me that the 50s are great. Here we all are with the wonderful chocolate cake, just waiting to make our wishes and blow out the candles.

Summer is winding up. Still on the agenda, harvesting the garden and freezing the produce, making a short video about my summer in Spiti last year, ongoing training for the mini-triathalon, relocating the chicken pen, organizing the upcoming "Art in the Garden" tour, and of course, getting ready for the new group of little darlings in grade 1.
